CRE Broker & Asset Manager
Carole Brill, CCIM, is the owner and broker of RM&D, working with commercial property owners and investors to manage and position assets with a focus on long-term performance. Since 2016, she has led the firm’s brokerage and property management activities, staying directly involved in how properties are leased, operated, and aligned with each owner’s investment strategy.
Background and Experience
Carole became part of RM&D in 2016 to lead brokerage and property management across a range of assets. Her role quickly expanded to overseeing both functions, with a focus on aligning acquisition, leasing, and management decisions with long-term asset performance.
She was instrumental in the acquisition and stabilization of One East Liberty Street in downtown Reno, including leasing the property to full occupancy and overseeing its ongoing management, while managing a broader portfolio of assets across leasing and property operations.
Approach to Asset Management
Her work is centered on active involvement at the property level, including leasing strategy, tenant relationships, operating performance, and capital decisions. This approach allows her to identify issues early, stabilize underperforming assets, and position properties for lease or sale.
Carole works directly with owners, often as an extension of their team, rather than through a layered management structure.
Prior Experience
Before joining RM&D, Carole held senior property management roles with Voit Real Estate Services in Southern California, where she managed institutional portfolios including over 2 million square feet of industrial space. Her responsibilities included tenant relations, operations, and financial performance across a multi-tenant portfolio.
She began her commercial real estate career in 2003, with a focus on industrial properties, and has since expanded into office, land, and investment transactions across Northern Nevada.
Professional Credentials
Carole is a licensed Nevada real estate broker and holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. She is currently pursuing the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation through IREM.
She has served as president of the Northern Nevada CCIM chapter and remains active in the local commercial real estate community.
Carole volunteers with the Nevada Museum of Art and the RennerVation Foundation and supports the Nevada Humane Society.
